This DSX IP Adapter connects the DSX IP phone and a computer to the LAN, and provides POE when a Power Over Ethernet (POE) switch is not being used.

First, run a CAT5 Ethernet cord to from the LAN to the IP Adapter. Then run a second Ethernet cord from the IP phone to the adapter. And last, run a third Ethernet cord from the computer to the adapter. This gives you the ability to run both your PC and phone off of one LAN port.

Only required to provide power for (1) DSX VoIP Telephone, if you're NOT using a Power Over Ethernet (POE) switch.
